1 Samuel 12:14

Worship is a grand and all-encompassing word. This 4-day reading plan shows what it means and how people of the Bible were called to worship the God of heaven.

It's easy to allocate one day a year to acknowledge what we're thankful for, but what if we taught our children how to have hearts of gratitude in acknowledgement for all of God's continued faithfulness? This 4-day Thanksgiving devotional teaches parents how to model gratitude for their children, even when life gets hard.

Are you ready to embark on a journey of turning your experiences into heartfelt devotion? Join us on a four-day devotional focusing on transforming life's data into genuine praise. Through biblical examples, each day you will learn about the importance of recognizing God's presence in your life and what happens when you do or don't. Together, we will explore powerful scriptural examples that illustrate how to capture these moments of grace, mercy, and God's faithfulness, and you will learn the importance of cultivating a life of devotion to God.

Discipleship works against fear. As we obey God’s commands, we entrust ourselves to him. Like the students attending the schools founded by D. L. Moody in Northfield, MA, God’s people “are encouraged to test the meaning and value of the Bible’s teachings experimentally, by acting upon them, and living them out.” As we “test experimentally” the word of God, we will find that we will have fewer and fewer reasons to be afraid.
