Psalm 98
98
Praise for God's Righteousness
A Psalm.
1O sing unto the Lord a new song;
for he hath done marvelous things:
his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2The Lord hath made known his salvation:
his righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.
3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth
toward the house of Israel:
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.
4Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth:
make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5Sing unto the Lord with the harp;
with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6With trumpets and sound of cornet
make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein.
8Let the floods clap their hands:
let the hills be joyful together
9before the Lord;
for he cometh to judge the earth:
with righteousness shall he judge the world,
and the people with equity.

Psalms 98
98
Psalm 98
A psalm.
1Sing a new song to the Lord
because he has done miraculous things.
His right hand and his holy arm have gained victory for him.
2The Lord has made his salvation known.
He has uncovered his righteousness for the nations to see.
3He has not forgotten to be merciful and faithful
to Israel’s descendants.
All the ends of the earth have seen how our God saves ⌞them⌟.
4Shout happily to the Lord, all the earth.
Break out into joyful singing, and make music.
5Make music to the Lord with a lyre,
with a lyre and the melody of a psalm,
6with trumpets and the playing of a ram’s horn.
Shout happily in the presence of the king, the Lord.
7Let the sea, everything in it,
the world, and those who live in it roar like thunder.
8Let the rivers clap their hands
and the mountains sing joyfully
9in the Lord’s presence
because he is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with justice
and its people with fairness.
