Exodus 39
39
1And of the blue and purple and scarlet they made garments of service, for service in the sanctuary, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 2And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus. 3And they beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it artistically into the blue, and into the purple, and into the scarlet, and into the byssus. 4They made shoulder-pieces for it, joining it: at its two ends was it joined together. 5And the girdle of his ephod, which was on it, was of the same, according to its work, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 6And they wrought the onyx stones mounted in enclosures of gold, engraved with the engravings of a seal, according to the names of the sons of Israel. 7And he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, as stones of memorial for the children of Israel; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 8And he made the breastplate of artistic work, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus. 9It was square; double did they make the breastplate, a span the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, doubled. 10And they set in it four rows of stones: one row, a sardoin, a topaz, and an emerald — the first row; 11and the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a diamond; 12and the third row, an opal, an agate, and an amethyst; 13and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper; mounted in enclosures of gold in their settings. 14And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, engraved as a seal, every one according to his name, for the twelve tribes. 15And they made on the breastplate chains of laced work of wreathen work, of pure gold. 16And they made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. 17And they put the two wreathen cords of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate; 18and the two ends of the two wreathen cords they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, on the front thereof. 19And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephod inwards. 20And they made two rings of gold, and put them upon the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, to the front thereof, just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephod. 21And they bound the breastplate with its rings to the rings of the ephod with lace of blue, that it might be above the girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 22And he made the cloak of the ephod of woven work, all of blue; 23and the opening of the cloak in its middle, as the opening of a coat of mail; a binding was round about the opening, that it should not rend. 24And they made on the skirts of the cloak pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet, twined. 25And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates, in the skirts of the cloak, round about, between the pomegranates: 26a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, in the skirts of the cloak round about, for service; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 27And they made the vests of byssus of woven work, for Aaron, and for his sons; 28and the turban of byssus; and the ornamental caps, of byssus; and the linen trousers, of twined byssus; 29and the girdle, of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of embroidery; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 30And they made the thin plate, the holy diadem, of pure gold, and wrote on it with the writing of the engravings of a seal, Holiness to Jehovah! 31And they fastened to it a lace of blue, to fasten it on the turban above; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
32And all the labour of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was ended; and the children of Israel had done it according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses — so had they done it. 33And they brought the tabernacle to Moses — the tent, and all its utensils, its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its bases; 34and the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil of separation; 35the ark of the testimony, and its staves, and the mercy-seat; 36the table, all its utensils, and the shewbread; 37the pure candlestick, its lamps, the lamps set in order, and all its utensils, and the oil for the light; 38and the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs; and the curtain for the entrance of the tent; 39the copper altar, and the copper grating that was for it, its staves and all its utensils; the laver and its stand; 40the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases; and the curtain for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the vessel's of service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting; 41the garments of service, for service in the sanctuary; the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to serve as priests. 42According to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses, so had the children of Israel done all the labour. 43And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Jehovah had commanded — so had they done it; and Moses blessed them.

Exodus 39

Holy Garments for Aaron and His Sons
1Next they made woven garments of blue, purple and scarlet, for ministering in the holy place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, as Adonai commanded Moses.
2He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet and finely twisted linen.
3They hammered the gold into thin plates, and cut it into threads, to work it in with the blue, purple and scarlet, within the fine linen, the work of a skillful craftsman.
4Then they made shoulder pieces for it, joined together at the two ends.
5The artfully woven band on the ephod, with which to gird it, was of the same piece and the same kind of workmanship of gold, blue, purple, scarlet and finely twisted linen, as Adonai commanded Moses.
6They placed the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, etched with the engravings of a signet seal, according to the names of Bnei-Yisrael.
7He put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, to be memorial stones for Bnei-Yisrael, as Adonai commanded Moses.
8He made the breastplate, the work of a skillful craftsman, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, scarlet and finely twisted linen.
9It was square and folded doubled, a span long and a span wide.
10They mounted within it four rows of stones. A row of ruby, topaz and emerald were the first row.
11In the second row were a turquoise, a sapphire and a diamond.
12In the third row were a jacinth, an agate and an amethyst,
13and in the fourth row were a beryl, an onyx and a jasper. They were enclosed in fittings of gold within their settings.
14The stones corresponded to the names of Bnei-Yisrael, like the engravings of a signet seal, each one according to its name for the twelve tribes.
15They attached braided chains to the breastplate, of wreathed work from pure gold.
16They made two settings of gold, and two golden rings, and set the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
17They attached the two golden chains to the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
18The other two ends of the chains they placed on the two settings, and fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, in the front.
19They also made two golden rings, and set them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the edge that was toward the side of the ephod facing inward.
20They made two more rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder pieces of the ephod underneath, in the front, enclosed by their coupling, above the artfully woven band of the ephod.
21Then they bound the breastplate by the rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue thread, so that it would rest on the artfully woven band and not be loosened from the ephod, as Adonai commanded Moses.
22He also made the robe of the ephod from woven work, all of blue,
23with a hole in the center of the robe, and a binding woven around the hole as a collar, so that it would not be torn.
24They also made, on the hem of the robe, pomegranates of blue, purple, scarlet and twisted linen.
25Then they made bells of pure gold and put the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe all around, between the pomegranates,
26a bell and a pomegranate, then another bell and a pomegranate, all around on the hem of the robe, to minister in, as Adonai commanded Moses.
27Then they made the sashes of fine linen, woven work for Aaron and for his sons,
28the turban of fine linen, the headwear, the linen undergarments of finely twisted linen,
29along with the tunic of checkered work, in blue, purple and scarlet, the work of a color weaver, as Adonai commanded Moses.
30Finally they made the plate of the holy coronet from pure gold, and wrote an inscription on it, like the engraving of a signet seal: HOLY TO Adonai.
31They tied to it a blue thread, to fasten onto the turban above, as Adonai commanded Moses.
32So all the work of the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was finished. Bnei-Yisrael did everything according to what Adonai had commanded Moses—they did it just so.
33Then they brought the Tabernacle to Moses, along with the tent and all of its furnishings, its clasps, its boards, its crossbars, its pillars, and its bases;
34along with the covering of ram skins dyed red, and the covering of sealskins, the veil of the curtain;
35as well as the Ark of the Testimony with its poles, and the atonement cover;
36the table and all of its utensils, the showbread;
37the pure menorah with its lamps to be set in order, along with all of its utensils, and oil for the light;
38the golden altar, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, and the curtain for the entrance of the tent;
39the bronze altar, its grating and its poles along with all of its utensils, and the basin and its base;
40the hangings for the courtyard, with its pillars, its bases and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard, with its cords and its pegs, along with all the instruments for the service of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting;
41as well as the woven garments for ministering in the Sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the kohen and for his sons to serve as kohanim.
42According to everything that Adonai had commanded Moses, Bnei-Yisrael had done all the work just so.
43When Moses saw the entire work, and that they had done it just as Adonai had commanded, Moses blessed them.
