This reading plan discusses Jesus’ roles as Prophet, Priest, and King.

Jesus said “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Jesus loved people in many different ways. This devotional will identify the different ways through scripture, and hopefully challenge and invite you to follow His example in your own life. You will examine who you love, how you love, and why you love.

This plan will explore what the letter of Hebrews can teach us in four different areas. 1) WHO GOD IS: God’s character and nature 2) WHO WE ARE: the identity of humanity and/or followers of Jesus 3) WHAT WE BELIEVE: core Christian doctrines 4) HOW WE LIVE: putting faith into action

Most of us aren’t familiar with the role of high priest, so Jesus being described that way in scripture seems rather unremarkable – just another of His many titles.
