Psalms 52

52
To the Heavenly Worship Leader, Maskhil [a contemplative poem], [A Psalm (sacred song about or to God)] of David [Beloved], when Do’eg [fearing] the Edomi came and told Sha’ul [Desired], and said unto him, David [Beloved] is come to the house of Achi’melekh [My Brother is King].
1Why boast youi yourself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [endures] continually.
2Your2s tongue devises mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3youi love evil more than good; [and] lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].
4youi love all devouring words, O [youi] deceitful tongue.
5God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] shall likewise destroy youi forever, he shall take youi away, and pluck youi out of [youri] dwelling place, and root youi out of the land of the living. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].
6The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
7Lo, [this is] the man [that] made not God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, [and] strengthened himself in his wickedness.
8But I [am] like a green olive tree in the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: I trust in the mercy of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] forever and ever.
9I will praise youi forever, because youi have done [it]: and I will wait on youri name; for [it is] good before youri saints.
