Genesis 7
7
1And the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said unto Noach (Rest, Consolation), Come youi and all youri house into the ark; for youi have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2Of every clean beast youi shall take to youi by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that [are] not clean by two, the male and his female.
3Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5And Noach (Rest, Consolation) did according unto all that the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) commanded him.
6And Noach (Rest, Consolation) [was] six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7And Noach (Rest, Consolation) went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8Of clean beasts, and of beasts that [are] not clean, and of fowls, and of everything that creeps upon the earth,
9There went in two and two unto Noach (Rest, Consolation) into the ark, the male and the female, as God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] had commanded Noach (Rest, Consolation).
10And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11In the six hundredth year of Noach’s (Rest, Consolation) life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13In the selfsame day entered Noach (Rest, Consolation), and Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known)), and Ham (hot, heat, brown), and Yefet (enlarged; fair; persuading), the sons of Noach (Rest, Consolation), and Noach’s (Rest, Consolation) wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15And they went in unto Noach (Rest, Consolation) into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein [is] the breath of life.
16And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] had commanded him: and the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shut him in.
17And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bore up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that [were] under the whole heaven, were covered.
20Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, and every man:
22All in whose nostrils [was] the breath of life, of all that [was] in the dry [land], died.
23And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noach (Rest, Consolation) only remained [alive], and they that [were] with him in the ark.
24And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

The Flood Covers the Earth
1When everything was ready, the Lord said to Noah, “Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I can see that you alone are righteous. 2Take with you seven pairs—male and female—of each animal I have approved for eating and for sacrifice,#7:2 Hebrew of each clean animal; similarly in 7:8. and take one pair of each of the others. 3Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird. There must be a male and a female in each pair to ensure that all life will survive on the earth after the flood. 4Seven days from now I will make the rains pour down on the earth. And it will rain for forty days and forty nights, until I have wiped from the earth all the living things I have created.”
5So Noah did everything as the Lord commanded him.
6Noah was 600 years old when the flood covered the earth. 7He went on board the boat to escape the flood—he and his wife and his sons and their wives. 8With them were all the various kinds of animals—those approved for eating and for sacrifice and those that were not—along with all the birds and the small animals that scurry along the ground. 9They entered the boat in pairs, male and female, just as God had commanded Noah. 10After seven days, the waters of the flood came and covered the earth.
11When Noah was 600 years old, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the underground waters erupted from the earth, and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky. 12The rain continued to fall for forty days and forty nights.
13That very day Noah had gone into the boat with his wife and his sons—Shem, Ham, and Japheth—and their wives. 14With them in the boat were pairs of every kind of animal—domestic and wild, large and small—along with birds of every kind. 15Two by two they came into the boat, representing every living thing that breathes. 16A male and female of each kind entered, just as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord closed the door behind them.
17For forty days the floodwaters grew deeper, covering the ground and lifting the boat high above the earth. 18As the waters rose higher and higher above the ground, the boat floated safely on the surface. 19Finally, the water covered even the highest mountains on the earth, 20rising more than twenty-two feet#7:20 Hebrew 15 cubits [6.9 meters]. above the highest peaks. 21All the living things on earth died—birds, domestic animals, wild animals, small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people. 22Everything that breathed and lived on dry land died. 23God wiped out every living thing on the earth—people, livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and the birds of the sky. All were destroyed. The only people who survived were Noah and those with him in the boat. 24And the floodwaters covered the earth for 150 days.
