Deuteronomy 20

20
1When youi go out to battle against youi enemies, and see horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than youi, be not afraid of them: for the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [is] with youi, which brought youi up out of the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place].
2And it shall be, when you2f are come near unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
3And shall say unto them, Hear, O Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], you2f approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be you2f terrified because of them;
4For the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [is] he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
5And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man [is there] that has built a new house, and has not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
6And what man [is he] that has planted a vineyard, and has not [yet] eaten of it? let him [also] go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.
7And what man [is there] that has betrothed a wife, and has not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.
8And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man [is there that is] fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren’s heart faint as well as his heart.
9And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
10When youi come near unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
11And it shall be, if it make youi answer of peace, and open unto youi, then it shall be, [that] all the people [that is] found in it shall be tributaries unto youi, and they shall serve youi.
12And if it will make no peace with youi, but will make war against youi, then youi shall besiege it:
13And when the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has delivered it into youi hands, youi shall strike every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
14But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, [even] all the spoil (plunder; prey; booty) thereof, shall youi take unto yourself; and youi shall eat the spoil (plunder; prey; booty) of youi enemies, which the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has given youi.
15Thus shall youi do unto all the cities [which are] very far off from youi, which [are] not of the cities of these nations.
16But of the cities of these people, which the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] does give youi [for] an inheritance, youi shall save alive nothing that breathes:
17But youi shall utterly destroy them; [namely], the Hitti [Terrorists], and the Emori [Highlanders], the Kena’ani [Merchant], and the P’rizi [Dwellers in Unwalled Towns], the Hivi [Villagers], and the Y’vusi [Threshers, Trampled Under Foot]; as the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has commanded youi:
18That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should you2f sin against the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].
19When youi shall besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, youi shall not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for youi may eat of them, and youi shall not cut them down (for the tree of the field [is] man’s [life]) to employ [them] in the siege:
20Only the trees which youi know that they [be] not trees for meat, youi shall destroy and cut them down; and youi shall build bulwarks against the city that makes war with youi, until it be subdued.
