Psalms 131
131
A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. A psalm of David.
1Lord, I'm not proud or arrogant. I don't worry about things that are beyond me, matters that are far beyond my experience.
2On the contrary, I have chosen to be calm and quiet, like a weaned child with its mother. I am like a weaned child with its mother.
3Israel, hope in the Lord, now and forever!

Psalms 131
131
Be Still My Soul
1A Song of Ascents. Of David. Adonai, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes lofty, nor do I go after things too great or too difficult for me.
2But I have calmed and quieted my soul— like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3O Israel, put your hope in Adonai from this time forth and forever.
