The Majestic King
1The Lord reigns! Let the earth rejoice;
let the many coasts and islands be glad.#Ps 93:1; 96:10
2Clouds and total darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.#Dt 4:11; 5:20; Ps 18:11
3Fire goes before him
and burns up his foes on every side.#Ps 18:8; 50:3
4His lightning lights up the world;

5The mountains melt like wax
at the presence of the Lord  —

6The heavens proclaim his righteousness;#Ps 50:6
