1Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord.
2#Ps 63:1; 84:2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
and who seek Him with all their heart.

they walk in His ways.

to keep Your precepts diligently.

to keep Your statutes!

and keep Your word.
18Open my eyes, that I may behold
wondrous things from Your law.
19I am a sojourner in the land;
do not hide Your commandments fromme.
20My soul is consumed all the time
with a longing for Your decrees.
21You have rebuked the proud, those cursed,
who depart from Your commandments.
22Remove from me reproach and contempt,
for I have kept Your testimonies.
23Even if princes sit and conspire against me,
Your servant will meditate on Your statutes.
24Your testimonies are my delight
and my counselors.

25My soul clings to the dust;
revive me according to Your word.
26I have declared my ways, and You heard me;
teach me Your statutes.
27Make me to understand the way of Your precepts;
then I shall contemplate on Your wondrous works.
28My soul collapses on account of grief;
strengthen me according to Your word.
29Remove from me the way of falsehood,
and graciously grant me Your law.
30I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
Your judgments I have laid before me.
31I have stayed with Your testimonies, OLord;
may I not be put to shame.
32I will run in the way of Your commandments,
when You set my heart free.

33Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes,
and I shall keep it to the end.
34Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law
and observe it with my whole heart.
35Lead me in the path of Your commandments,
for I delight in them.
36Incline my heart unto Your testimonies,
and not for unjust gain.
37Turn away my eyes from beholding worthlessness,
and revive me in Your way.
38Establish Your word to Your servant,
so that You are feared.
39Turn away my reproach that I dread,
for Your judgments are good.
40Behold, I have a longing for Your precepts;
revive me in Your righteousness.

41Let Your mercies come to me, O Lord,
even Your deliverance according to Your word.
42So I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me,
for I trust in Your word.
43Do not take the word of truth out of my mouth,
for I have hoped in Your judgments.
44So I shall keep Your law continually,
forever and ever.
45I will walk in an open space,
for I seek Your precepts.
46I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings
and will not be ashamed.
47I will delight in Your commandments,
which I have loved.
48My hands I will lift up unto Your commandments, which I have loved;
I will meditate on Your statutes.

49Remember Your word to Your servant,
on which You have caused me to hope.
50This is my comfort in my affliction,
for Your word revives me.
51The proud ones have derided me,
yet I have not forsaken Your law.
52I remembered Your judgments of old, OLord,
and I have comforted myself.
53Fury has taken hold of me because of the wicked
who forsake Your law.
54Your statutes have been my songs
in the house of my temporary dwelling.
55I have remembered Your name, O Lord, in the night,
and have kept Your law.
56This is my blessing,
because I have kept Your precepts.

57You are my portion, O Lord;
I have said that I would keep Your words.
58I seek Your favor with my whole heart;
be merciful to me according to Your word.
59I consider my ways,
and I turn my feet to Your testimonies.
60I made haste, and I did not delay
to keep Your commandments.
61The bands of the wicked have trapped me,
but I have not forgotten Your law.
62At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You,
because of Your righteous judgments.
63I am a companion of all who fear You,
and of those who keep Your precepts.
64The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy;
teach me Your statutes.

65You have been good to Your servant,
O Lord, according to Your word.
66Teach me good discernment and knowledge,
for I have believed Your commandments.
67Before I was afflicted I wandered,
but now I keep Your word.
68You are good and do good;
teach me Your statutes.
69The proud have spoken lies against me,
but I keep Your precepts with my whole heart.
70Their heart is as thick as fat,
but I delight in Your law.
71It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
that I might learn Your statutes.
72The law from Your mouth is better to me
than thousands of gold and silver coins.

73Your hands have made me and fashionedme;
give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.
74Those who fear You will be glad when they see me,
because I have hoped in Your word.
75I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right,
and that You in faithfulness have afflicted me.
76Let Your merciful kindness comfort me,
according to Your word to Your servant.
77Let Your compassion come to me, that I may live,
for Your law is my delight.
78Let the proud be ashamed, for they have been wicked to me in falsehood,
but I will meditate on Your precepts.
79Let those who fear You turn to me,
that they might know Your testimonies.
80Let my heart be blameless in Your statutes,
that I may not be ashamed.

81My soul longs for Your deliverance,
but I hope in Your word.
82My eyes are weary for Your word,
saying, “When will You comfort me?”
83For I have become like a wineskin dried in the smoke,
yet I have not forgotten Your statutes.
84How many days are given to Your servant?
When will You provide judgment on those who persecute me?
85The proud have dug pits for me,
and they do not live in accordance to Your law.
86All Your commandments are faithful;
I am persecuted without cause; help me!
87They have almost consumed me on the earth,
but I have not abandoned Your precepts.
88Revive me according to Your lovingkindness,
that I may keep the testimony from Your mouth.

89Forever, O Lord, Your word
is established in heaven.
90Your faithfulness is for all generations;
You have established the earth, and it is firm.
91They continue this day according to Your ordinance,
for all are Your servants.
92Unless Your law had been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction.
93I will never forget Your precepts,
for with them You have revived me.
94I am Yours; deliver me,
for I have sought Your precepts.
95The wicked have waited to destroy me,
but I will consider Your testimonies.
96I have seen that all perfection has an end,
but Your commandment is quite broad.

It is my meditation all the day.
98Your commandments have made me wiser than my enemies,
for they are continually with me.
99I have more understanding than all my teachers,
for Your testimonies are my meditation.
100I understand more than the elders,
because I keep Your precepts.
101I have restrained my feet from every evil way,
that I might keep Your word.
102I have not departed from Your judgments,
for You have taught me.
103How sweet are Your words to the taste of my mouth!
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104Through Your precepts I receive understanding;
therefore I hate every false way.

and a light to my path.
106I have sworn, and I will perform it,
that I will keep Your righteous judgments.
107I am greatly afflicted;
revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.
108Accept the freewill offerings of my praise, O Lord,
and teach me Your judgments.
109My soul is continually in my hand,
yet I do not forget Your law.
110The wicked have laid a trap for me,
yet I do not depart from Your precepts.
111Your testimonies are my inheritance forever,
for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes always,
even unto the end.

but I love Your law.
114You are my hiding place and my shield,
I hope in Your word.
115Depart from me, you who are wicked,
for I keep the commandments of my God.
116Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live,
and let me not be ashamed with my hope.
117Hold me up, and I shall be safe,
and I will have respect for Your statutes continually.
118You have rejected all those who stray from Your statutes,
for their deceit is falsehood.
119You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross;
therefore I love Your testimonies.
120My body trembles for fear of You,
and I am afraid of Your judgments.

121I have done what is right and just;
do not abandon me to my oppressors.
122Be true to Your servant for good;
let not the proud ones oppress me.
123My eyes long for Your deliverance
and for the promise of Your righteousness.
124Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy,
and teach me Your statutes.
125I am Your servant; grant me understanding,
that I may know Your testimonies.
126It is time for You, O Lord, to act,
for they have broken Your law.
127Therefore I love Your commandments
above gold, even fine gold.
128For I follow all Your precepts to be right,
and I hate every false way.

therefore my soul keeps them.
130The giving of Your words gives light;
it grants understanding to the simple.
131I opened my mouth and panted,
for I long for Your commandments.
132Look upon me, and be merciful to me,
as You are for those who love Your name.

and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134Deliver me from the oppression of man,
so I will keep Your precepts.
135Make Your face to shine upon Your servant,
and teach me Your statutes.
136Rivers of waters run down my eyes,
because people do not keep Your law.

and upright are Your judgments.
138You have set Your testimonies in righteousness
and faithfulness.
139My zeal has consumed me,
because my enemies have forgotten Your words.
140Your word is pure and true;
therefore Your servant loves it.

yet I do not forget Your precepts.
142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
and Your law is true.
143Trouble and anguish have discovered me,
but Your commandments are my delight.
144The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting;
grant me understanding, and I shall live.

I will keep Your statutes.

147I arose before the dawn of the morning and cried for help;
I hope in Your words.

150They draw close, those who persecute me with evil;

151But You are near, O Lord,
and all Your commandments are true.

revive me according to Your word.

157Many are my persecutors and my enemies,
yet I do not turn from Your testimonies.
158I behold the transgressors with disgust,
because they have not kept Your word.
159Consider how I love Your precepts;

160Your word is true from the beginning,
and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

161Princes have persecuted me without a cause,
but my heart stands in awe of Your words.
162I rejoice at Your word,
as one who finds great plunder.
163I hate and abhor lying,
but I love Your law.
164Seven times a day I praise You,
because of Your righteous judgments.
165Those who love Your law have great peace,
and nothing shall cause them to stumble.
166Lord, I have hoped for Your deliverance,
and I carry out Your commandments.
167My soul has kept Your testimonies,
and I love them greatly.
168I have kept Your precepts and Your testimonies,
for all my ways are before You.

1Aleph Blessed are the perfect in the way, Who walk in the Torah of יהוה!
2Blessed are those who observe His witnesses, Who seek Him with all the heart!
3Yes, they shall do no unrighteousness; They shall walk in His ways.
4You have commanded us To guard Your orders diligently.
5Oh, that my ways were established To guard Your laws!
6Then I would not be ashamed, When I look into all Your commands.
7I thank You with uprightness of heart, When I learn the right-rulings of Your righteousness.
8I guard Your laws; Oh, do not leave me entirely!
9Bĕt How would a young man cleanse his path? To guard it according to Your word.
10I have sought You with all my heart; Let me not stray from Your commands!
11I have treasured up Your word in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
12Blessed are You, O יהוה! Teach me Your laws.

49Zayin Remember the word to Your servant, On which You have caused me to wait.

53Rage has seized me because of the wrong Who forsake Your Torah.

64O יהוה, Your loving-commitment has filled the earth; Teach me Your laws.
65Tet You have done good to Your servant, O יהוה, According to Your word.
66Teach me good sense and knowledge, For I have trusted in Your commands.
67Before I was afflicted I myself was going astray, But now I have guarded Your word.
68You are good, and do good; Teach me Your laws.
69The proud have forged a lie against me, With all my heart I observe Your orders.
70Their heart has become like fat, Without feeling; I have delighted in Your Torah.
71It was good for me that I was afflicted, That I might learn Your laws.
72The Torah of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

78Let the proud be put to shame, For with lies they perverted me; But I study Your orders.
79Let those who fear You turn to me, And those who know Your witnesses.
80Let my heart be perfect in Your laws, So that I am not put to shame.
81Kaph For Your deliverance my being has pined away, For I have waited for Your word.
82My eyes have pined away for Your word, Saying, “When would it comfort me?”
83For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, Your laws I have not forgotten.
84How many are the days of Your servant? When do You execute right-ruling On those who persecute me?
85The proud have dug pits for me, Which is not according to Your Torah.
86All Your commands are trustworthy; They have persecuted me with lies; Help me!
87They almost made an end of me on earth, But I, I did not forsake Your orders.
88Revive me according to Your loving-commitment, That I might guard the witness of Your mouth.
89Lamed Forever, O יהוה, Your word stands firm in the heavens.
90Your trustworthiness is to all generations; You established the earth, and it stands.
91According to Your right-rulings They have stood to this day, For all are Your servants.
92If Your Torah had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
93Let me never forget Your orders, For by them You have given me life.
94I am Yours, save me; For I have sought Your orders.
95The wrong have waited for me to destroy me; I understand Your witnesses.
96I have seen an end of all perfection; Your command is exceedingly broad.

98Your commands make me wiser than my enemies; For it is ever before me.
99I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your witnesses are my study.
100I understand more than the aged, For I have observed Your orders.
101I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I might guard Your word.
102I have not turned aside from Your right-rulings, For You Yourself have taught me.
103How sweet to my taste has Your word been, More than honey to my mouth!
104From Your orders I get understanding; Therefore I have hated every false way.
105Nun Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
106I have sworn, and I confirm, To guard Your righteous right-rulings.
107I have been afflicted very much; O יהוה, revive me according to Your word.
108Please accept the voluntary offerings Of my mouth, O יהוה, And teach me Your right-rulings.
109My life is in my hand continually, And Your Torah I have not forgotten.
110The wrong have laid a snare for me, But I have not strayed from Your orders.
111Your witnesses are my inheritance forever, For they are the joy of my heart.
112I have inclined my heart to do Your laws Forever, to the end.

114You are my hiding place and my shield; I have waited for Your word.
115Turn away from me, you evil-doers, For I observe the commands of my Elohim!
116Support me according to Your word, That I might live; And put me not to shame Because of my expectation.
117Sustain me, that I might be saved, And always look to Your laws.
118You have made light of all those Who stray from Your laws, For falsehood is their deceit.
119You have made to cease All the wrong of the earth, like dross; Therefore I have loved Your witnesses.
120My flesh has trembled for fear of You, And I am in awe of Your right-rulings.
121Ayin I have done right-ruling and righteousness; Leave me not to my oppressors.
122Guarantee Your servant’s well-being; Let not the proud oppress me.
123My eyes have pined away for Your deliverance, And for the word of Your righteousness.
124Do with Your servant according to Your loving-commitment, And teach me Your laws.
125I am Your servant – make me understand, That I might know Your witnesses.
126It is time for יהוה to act! For they have broken Your Torah.
127Therefore I have loved Your commands More than gold, even fine gold!
128Therefore all Your orders I count as right; I have hated every false way.
129Pĕ Your witnesses are wonders; So my being observes them.

144The righteousness of Your witnesses is forever; Make me understand, that I might live.

158I saw traitors and was grieved, Because they did not guard Your word.
159See how I have loved Your orders, יהוה, revive me according to Your loving-commitment.
160The sum of Your word is truth, And all Your righteous right-rulings are forever.
161Shin Rulers have persecuted me without a cause, But at Your word my heart stood in awe.
162I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure.
163I have hated falsehood and loathe it, Your Torah I have loved.
164I have praised You seven times a day, Because of Your righteous right-rulings.
165Great peace have those loving Your Torah, And for them there is no stumbling-block.
166יהוה, I have waited for Your deliverance, And I have done Your commands.
167My being has guarded Your witnesses, And I love them exceedingly.
168I have guarded Your orders and Your witnesses, For all my ways are before You.
169Taw My cry comes before You, O יהוה; Make me understand according to Your word.
170Let my prayer come before You; Deliver me according to Your word.
