This plan walks believers through the Biblical principles of happiness and joy, which are found in the Lord alone. Regardless of our circumstances, we can choose happiness, because He has the victory!

Sometimes the “hustle and bustle” of our days, along with the challenges, can make it hard to maintain a positive outlook. We can feel discouraged, disappointed, or even downright cranky. A change of perspective can keep us going when our resistance is down. Focusing on worship, listening to praise music, engaging in laughter with a friend or our children, and praying for strength and determination to persevere can lift our spirits. Let’s look at a few illustrations.

Proverbs 17:22 says, “A merry heart does good like medicine…” Good humor may very well be one of the greatest blessings from the Lord, especially in the context of marital relationships.
