Living Sacrifices to God
1I #1 Cor. 1:10; 2 Cor. 10:1–4beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies #Phil. 4:18; Heb. 10:18, 20a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2And #Matt. 13:22; Gal. 1:4; 1 John 2:15do not be conformed to this world, but #Eph. 4:23; (Titus 3:5)be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may #(1 Thess. 4:3)prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Serve God with Spiritual Gifts
3For I say, #Rom. 1:5; 15:15; 1 Cor. 3:10; 15:10; Gal. 2:9; Eph. 3:7through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, #Prov. 25:27not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt #(Eph. 4:7)to each one a measure of faith. 4For #1 Cor. 12:12–14; (Eph. 4:4, 16)as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5so #(1 Cor. 10:17); Gal. 3:28we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is #(John 3:27)given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us #Acts 11:27prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; #Eph. 4:11he who teaches, in teaching; 8#Acts 15:32he who exhorts, in exhortation; #(Matt. 6:1–3)he who gives, with liberality; #(Acts 20:28)he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, #2 Cor. 9:7with cheerfulness.
Behave Like a Christian

14#(Matt. 5:44); Luke 6:28; 1 Cor. 4:12Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15#(1 Cor. 12:26)Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16#Rom. 15:5; 2 Cor. 13:11; (Phil. 2:2; 4:2); 1 Pet. 3:8Be of the same mind toward one another. #Jer. 45:5Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. 17#(Matt. 5:39); 1 Pet. 3:9Repay no one evil for evil. #2 Cor. 8:21Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18If it is possible, as much as depends on you, #Heb. 12:14live peaceably with all men. 19Beloved, #Lev. 19:18do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, #Deut. 32:35; Ps. 94:1; 1 Thess. 4:6; Heb. 10:30“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20Therefore
