Have you heard the vocal warm-up, “Me-me-me-me-me-me-me….”? This phrase can also characterize the attitude of one who places his or her own desires before others’ needs. How would our relationships, especially with our mates, be different if we set aside our wants and prioritized their needs instead?—or just did some acts of kindness for no reason other than to bring delight to our husband or wife?
