Jeremiah 33:15

Experience the warmth of Christmas through the winsome wit and wisdom of beloved writer G. K. Chesterton. Find encouragement for the holiday season with selections of Chesterton's writings accompanied by commentary, scripture readings, and reflections!

Advent is a season of hope. This is true even in today's chaotic and confusing world. Join us in journeying with Jeremiah as we learn what it means to hold on to hope in the midst of dark times.

This plan is a guide to discover God’s story as it unfolds in the Bible - from Genesis through Revelation. Over 12 days, each devotional will introduce one part of that story. Each will list the Scripture passages covering that period, and dates, highlight its main points and briefly summarize the part it plays within the context of God’s redemptive plan. The Bible reading each day should take about 30 minutes.

“This Christmas season let’s remember that God’s promises are not like ours – fragile and sometimes forgotten – but are firm, fulfilled and forever. In every wrapped gift, flickering Christmas tree light and sung carol, may we see a reflection of the ultimate gift: Jesus, the righteous branch – our everlasting hope.” (The Promise of a Righteous Branch – Robbie Parkin)
