But sometimes, the Enemy uses God’s people to spiritually abuse one another. It grieves the heart of the Lord, and yet, He still believes in His bride. Jesus was different from everyone else because He belonged to a Kingdom that is not of this world. When we choose to follow Him, we become citizens of that same heavenly Kingdom, called to reach the world while we still live in it. In the “Out Of This World” Bible Study, we’re going to walk through Matthew 5:1–16 and discover three things God wants to shift our perspective on. Prayerfully, as we study the words of the One who entered this world to save humanity, we will discover meaning and fulfillment beyond anything this world has to offer!

This 3-day devotional explores the Beatitudes as an invitation into God’s upside-down kingdom, where blessing flows through humility, surrender, righteousness, mercy, and purity. It emphasizes that God’s commands are purposeful and transformative, not arbitrary. Followers of Jesus are called to pursue reconciliation, endure opposition with faithfulness, and find identity in Christ even amid suffering. Ultimately, the Beatitudes reframe hardship by pointing believers toward eternal reward and deeper communion with God.
